About Dorothy Donohue

It all started when...

I got my first dog. Ever since I have not been without a 4 legged companion.

Art school, working as an artist at Hallmark Cards, and illustrating children's books, my copilot has been my dogs.

Volunteering at my local shelter, I realized how important it is to adopt.

Painting portraits of shelter dogs as a fund raiser is one of my ways of giving back.  I also love painting personal dog portraits for clients. Every dog should have a portrait!

Please visit my gallery (a work in progress) to see some of my portraits.
